This is a full-time career oriented Post Graduate Programme in Management. The duration is two years. On successful completion of the course, the students will be awarded the MBA degree.
The Course Structure
The course is in semester pattern. There are four semesters. Each Semester includes the core subjects and also many value added topics and training. The students will have to appear for written exams and pass in all the core subjects.
The 1 Semester includes core/general subjects & few personal competency building activities.In the 2 Semester, there will be functional subjects. After completion of two semesters the students will have to go for summer training for a period of two months in the industry, preferably in the areas of their chosen specializing groups.
In the 3 Semester, the students are introduced to specialization subjects. And in the 4 Semester, the emphasis is given on practical/ integrated aspects of the subjects. However, the major thrust on grooming the students for professional career continues to be there in all the semesters starting fromthe first one.
Highlights of GBSRC Syllabus:
The syllabus covers conceptual and practical aspects of all topics in a systematic way. This has been developed in consultation with industry experts. It has been received by the industry as an advance preparatory Programme for professional Managers. Our special courses in communication, yoga, Meditation, Outdoor Management, etc. will prepare students for challenges of professional careers. A typical Vidyapeeth syllabus has altogether about 26 core subjects. Against this, our syllabus has altogether about 32 core subjects & 16 additional topics / training. This is the substantial improvement and enables students to acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills to get them placed in prestigious organizations.
Each of the four semesters has core subjects and value-added topics /Training. The management continuously updates the syllabus as and when required in order to catch up with the fast changing business environment.

After the completion of the second semester, the students have to undergo Summer Training in any organization for a period
of two months. They are expected to have a through understanding of the working of an organization and also get an insight of practical
problem solving by undertaking a project under the joint guidance of an industry executive and faculty of the institute.
