  • The candidate ma y be an Indian National /NRI/PiO/FN. The candidate is required to produce the proof of his/her Nationality obtained from a District Magistrate, Additional Magistrate, or Metropolitan Magistrate. Valid Passport shall also be considered sufficient proof of Nationality.
  • The candidate, seeking to appear at the AIAHCET- 2020 shall be an Indian national and shall have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2020.
  • A candidate must have passed Std. XII or equivalent examination with 50% marks for General Category (45% marks for reserve category) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics and English subjects or a candidate who have passed Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC) from recognized Board with overall 50% marks.

The Annual fee is to be paid by NEFT / RTGS / Demand Draft in favour of “Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Optometry and Visual Sciences, Pune” payable at Pune by the student at the time of counseling and issue of admission letter

University Eligibility & Registration Fee (Onetime Fee)15% (Fifteen Percent) of the Annual Fee, payable for the first year only, shall be paid by the student separately at the time of filling in the Eligibility Application, as University Eligibility & Registration Fee. This fee shall be paid by a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of “The Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune” payable at Pune.

(Note: The Vidyapeeth Eligibility & Registration Fee is non-refundable.)

University Examination Fee

In addition to the above fees, the student shall pay the University Examination Fee as prescribed by the Particulars General Category NRI / PIO / FN Category Annual Fee Will be notified on the Vidyapeeth Website Vidyapeeth from time to time. Other conditions and formalities shall be as per the Rules of the Vidyapeeth.



Candidates are advised to:

  1. To preserve the Fee Receipt and Admit Card safely and bring the same to the Test hall and produce it on demand.
  2. To use only black ballpoint pen for marking responses (answers) and for all other entries.
  3. To note that issue of Admit Card is just a provision for appearing in AIAHCET-2020 and does not imply that the candidate is eligible for admission.
  4. To occupy the seat in the test hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the Test, and in any case, not after 11.30 am.
  5. Not to bring calculators, calculating devices like Cellular (mobile) phone / pager, etc. in the test hall.
  6. To enter the AIAHCET-20 Seat Number carefully on the answer sheet.
  7. Not to remove any page(s) from the Test Booklet. If any page(s) is/are found missing from his/her Test Booklet, he/she will be proceeded against and shall be liable for criminal action.
  8. Not to leave the test hall till the completion of Test, and handing over the Answer Sheet and Test Booklet to the invigilator.

Instructions for Applying Online

  1. Visit http://admissions.dpu.edu.in to apply online.
  2. Fill in your basic details and click on the Apply Now button.
  3. You will have your dashboard open in front of you. Also welcome mail containing your login ID and password will be sent on your registered email ID. You can use these details to login lates.
  4. Fill the application form completely and upload all the required documents.
  5. Make the fee payment online.
  6. After completion of entire form with payment, click on ‘Submit’ button. Your admission form will get submitted.
  7. After the successful payment of the fees, you will not be able to make any changes in the Application Form.
  8. On the dashboard, two links for printing Receipt and Application Form will be available. Take printout of both the documents for your reference.
  9. Link to print Admit Cards will be provided later and you will be intimated on your email ID and also through SMS on your given mobile number.
  10. If you face any technical difficulty at any step while filling the application form, please mail us on the email ID provided on the dashboard of your login page.

Issue of Admit cards

  1. All the candidates who have submitted the online application form, are required to download the Admit Card online two weeks before the day of Entrance Test. The admit card will indicate the seat number and the examination centre (with its address) allotted to the candidate.
  2. The candidate shall not mutilate the admit card or change any entry made therein after it has been authenticated by the Vidyapeeth authorities.
